A man had to learn from a media source that he might have been infected with the coronavirus

A Saskatchewan man says he learned through the media that he was on a flight with someone who might possibly be tested positive for COVID-19 and is worried that he has still not been reached by the airline personnel or any appropriate group.

Bedecs and his wife, Naomi Bedecs, flew into Regina from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Sunwing flight WG496 on March 14.

He said they were given a flyer at the air terminal that prompted them to self-screen for side effects of COVID-19, the sickness brought about by the novel coronavirus.

The couple, feeling fine, came back to their home in Redvers, Sask., situated around 250 kilometers southeast of Regina. Bedecs said he and his better half remained at home, with the exception of an excursion out for provisions. During that period, they were visited by their daughter in-law.

The number of inhabitants in Redvers is just around 1,000 individuals. Bedecs said a significant number of them knew he and his better half had quite recently come back from Cabo.

The couple, presently in self-detachment, are not exhibiting symptoms yet.
